Family & Relationship Property Law * Property & Commercial Law * Wills & Trust Law

I have been in family law since 1985. I specialise in children’s issues and relationship property matters and am a senior Lawyer for Child, an appointment made by the Court when a child requires independent representation. I also handle a large number of Guardianship Act and Child Youth and Family cases.

Aside from family law, I practice in conveyancing, trusts, small businesses, wills and property settlements, and have experience in commercial, securities, company, and mining law. I am also heavily involved with the Dunedin Community Law Centre.

I appreciate that family law often involves helping people at highly stressful times in their lives. I believe in making things as easy as possible.

I fix problems for people, and I do it quickly and efficiently. I don’t make things any more complicated than they have to be, and I don’t charge the earth.

I want to do the best for my clients, giving quality service and forming good personal relationships. I have different generations of the same families still coming to me; I’m in it for the long term – you can’t take on a family’s affairs otherwise.

I live on a farm on the Peninsula and enjoy gardening and tramping.
